Hello all, Newby here…
I have a Hallett B 35 air compressor that my dad got used 80 years ago. My best friend painted it and just gave it to me. It spits oil out the block breather, I’m thinking too much oil, but don’t know the correct amount. Maybe someone can help me. Here is a current picture, thank you, Justaguy

Welcome to the Forum, please make sure the compressor is safe to operate; we don't want to hear from your widow that the compressor failed Catistrophicly.
An ultrasound inspection of the tank would be a non destructive way to determine the condition of the tank. Hydro Testing could possibly rupture the tank.
