I have a few hammer and sledge heads (small) that I'd like to put new handles on. Who has a good source of handles of different sizes and that will last a decent while? Also, is there anything special on how you measure the hole in the hammer head or is it straight forward?

The stuff at big box stores seems to be lacking.

Sears sells USA made hickory handles for cheap. I have multiple Craftsman ball pein hammers with those hickory handles and have only broke one, but it was my fault for using it like a *****.
