I don't store my axes, mauls, and hatchets with my hammers, so some of you might be disappointed.:LOL: I also store my 8-10 autobody hammers elsewhere, because they aren't used often enough to warrant easy access.

I use two plastic milk crates to hold my hammers. The crates both sit on one of my workbenches. One crate is for my steel faced hammers, and the other is for my soft faced hammers. I cut up a bunch of pieces of scrap pvc, abs, and thick cardboard tubing I had on hand in order to make the sleeves for each hammer to fit in. I have been doing it this way for at least 10 years now and I don't see myself ever changing my hammer storage. This setup works perfectly for my needs.
