I haven't considered getting a top box because I like having the space for all my half baked projects, but for $100 I thought I'd grab this one and try it out.
Like new inside but a nice bash in the lid.

Heckuva buy for $100. Even though it is made in China, Hammerhead is way better quality than most of the Costco and similar stainless boxes.

Yes, it is Chinese, but the fit and finish is excellent. The slides are modest and fixed so no replacing them, plenty decent for the homeowner.

I got it at a garage sale. I originally went there looking for a toolbox for a friend. Bought him a top and bottom Hammerhead, like new for $500. The seller had this lone top box in the corner and even from a distance I could see the dent. At the time, the big drawer on the right was missing but the seller finally found it by the time we came back with the truck.

It's a hanging file drawer.

Thanks! I never would have guessed! I DID notice when cleaning it up that the sides of the rest of the drawers were straight but this drawer had sides with a little detent. Makes sense now!
