I know there are different situations for different types of hammers but what is your most used hammer?

Dead blow

My fav is a slimline Stanley compo cast. I love the shape of it. It's about 24oz. I love that thing.

Depends on the use obviously and that is going to be different for different members, but for me generally just grab an old 24-32 oz ball peen for general duty.

20 and 22 oz Bostitch for construction and my go to automotive is my 16 oz snappy.

If my 16oz SO is the wrong tool for the job I consult the hammer cabinet. Only automotive use hammers in here.

General light stuff, 16oz. Snappy deadblow.

Really gentle stuff, 8oz. brass.

Trying to break ****, 3lb. BASH drilling hammer.

6 lb engineer's hammer, not even worth getting any of the other hammers out of the drawer...

Craftsman ball pein. Used primarily for knocking holes in hollow cinder block walls to run pipe for work.
