Gentlemen,

This is really a great deal on some excellent hammers on amazon. Vaughan, Garland, etc. over 70% off:rocker:

This will be extremely limited, since the price will probably jump as soon as a couple guys get in on the deal. Good luck!

Thanks, Bought some specialty hammers I needed, particularly the copper faced for protecting the work.

I had to walk away from the computer for about half an hour to get control of myself. I was one click away from dumping almost $200 in paypal on hammers I already have in different brands.

How do you guys think those Vaughan compare to the estwing
which rubber handle do you prefer????

Do they hold a candle to estwing,

They seem to retail for more

Oh reason I ask is it will pretty much decide for me if I get one or not

My goodness, that went fast. Late last night I ordered the Garland #3 split head hammer with Nylon faces, # 32003, for $17.00. This morning, it is back to $70.00.

Some months ago, I scored a NOS set of rawhide #3 faces for nothing money on the auction site; so that got me to looking for a #3 hammer. Even used, they fetch around $50, and new $60-$70.

A brand new Garland #3 hammer with Nylon for $17.00 shipped...amazing. I don't understand how or why Amazon does such a thing, even if only for some hours. Just why?

Thank you very much OP, Indexmill.

This hammer is the same as Blue Point:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G0PLKGC/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00G0PLKGC&linkCode=as2&tag=tools0dc-20&linkId=IGTT67VH5TNAZ66C">Vaughan 165-10 FS432 Fiberglass Handle Ball Pein Hammer, 32-Ounce Head</a><img src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=tools0dc-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00G0PLKGC" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

There are other Vaughn hammers which bluepoint re-brands.

Not sure what you guys are seeing here... I see hammers priced as hammers should be :headscrat

Read the whole thread; you are too late and missed the deals. There are still a couple of items at the 'steal me" price, but not like yesterday.

What were you hammering with before? Good intentions?:bounce:

Some of those proto hammers looks like nupla. Just saying.
