I know nothing about these.. they have been in my garage forever. I know there are folks that enjoy restoring these soooo... is there any value in them as they are?? If I were looking to sell them what would be a fair asking price?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Marginal. Lots of work needed on each one to clean and make true. If they are just Stanley planes eh. The long one looks to be a smoothing plane. Measure it and look up some prices on ebay

The block plane at the far left is a Stanley # 9 1/2 worth $15-20 at retail presuming it is complete and the throat adjustment works, the remainder are worth at most $5 each.

The #7 on the right is worth more than $5. But the two incomplete ones, I valued at $0, with the 2nd from the left being worth $5 at most, since it is complete.

The one on the right is a #5, at about 14" long. #7 should be 22" long, and worth much more than the #5.

The block at the left may be the most valuable, I can't see an age on that one.

One next to it is pretty low quality build, regardless of age.

The #5 far right is the dreaded Cordovan era, the edge of when things went to @#$$. That;s the age people quit caring.

The two incompletes need blades, chip breakers, and lever caps. Not terribly hard to find, but unless you have them in your stash, they will cost as much as the existing planes are worth, unless they are some really cool era that I can't see from this distance.

Any of them have a corrugated sole? That is a plus in my book... so long as the plane is not cracked.

While the pics really dont do them justice the 2 incomplete ones are pretty rough the 3 complete one are "tarnished" , smooth and relatively shiny in the sunlight. I appreciate all the input.. i listed them at 25.00 for the lot, we'll see what happens.

Unless all you want is for someone to take them off your hands and be done, you should educate yourself on what you have. Taking a couple of no-detail group shots and asking the opinion of all comers on this forum is not educating yourself.

Start here: https://www.timetestedtools.net/category/hand-planes/

This has a load of info on Stanley: http://www.supertool.com/StanleyBG/stan0a.html

When you know what you have is an old Stanley and think it might be valuable, look here: https://issuu.com/secondchanceantiquetools/docs/the_book It's 10 years out of date but will keep you from giving something away for nothing.

Even your two incomplete planes may be worth more than $5 as part-outs if your totes and knobs are in good shape with no chips.

Otherwise, yeah, $25 is as good a number as any I could pull out of the air.
