Hand rivet nut gun?

Sorry if there is a thread on this, thought one would be handy for making grease banks on some equipment for the farm. What else do you guys use them for? What are some good brands to buy? Pros and cons?

Can't give u too much knowledge on this one but I have a cheap 20 dollar one from lowes. It is black with a red handle. It is made by "arrow". I never had an issue with it. I'm sure there is much better ones tho

They are WELL built but not cheap.
Samw with there hand indtalling equip.

Snap-On used to carry and sell hand installers for riv-nuts, but they seem to NLA.

Might want to check out Pegasus Racing, Jeg's and other race shop suppliers as theya re big in the motor racing fab world.

Just to be sure, are you talking about "Rivnuts"? If so checkout these sites:

I used them to attach a shifter in a car where access to the underside of the trans tunnel would be difficult or a 2 man operation. Also used them to attach a firewall block off plate.
