Anyone now of a source for the screws that hold hand saw blades to the handle. The saw is sentimental. Other than buying another old saw, I wondering if there is a source.

You bet. I have about 6 stacked in the corner. The old ******* used to give me dull, worn out saws when I had a project. Never managed to get through a 2x4. Substantially delayed my construction career.
