Hand Seamers 3", 6" or Offset?

I want to buy my dad a pair of hand seamers to use on sheet metal being installed into and repairing the current metal/body on his old car.

I don't know much about doing this type of work, but have seen them in a couple of stores only seeing the 3 inch versions in store.

I didn't know much about hand seamers so looked them up, then noticed there are 6 inch versions, and then the offset type (angled).

If I buy one set, which size/type would be the best option for my dad, considering the type of work he'll be using them on.

I have a number of different sizes and use them all. Every use is fairly job specific so, I would recommend at least the 3" to start and a 6" if you want to splurge a bit on him. I have a couple from Harbor Freight that work very well and they won't break the bank if you pick up a few of them.
