I asked for replacement parts due to wear, he replied that tested for many hours with no issues, and if they come up, the machine is prepared to replacements... I am interested, but I'm also reluctant, on these type of deals on the long run...

I had a little cordless spot blaster like that back in the 80's. It wasn't very powerful, and it was more for spot blasting a pit on sheet metal or a weld. You had to hold it directly on the spot you wanted blasted and it basically swirled grit around the suction cup and blasted the diameter of the nozzle. it worked, but was slow and not useful for much.

This one seems a good compromise between power and portability. I dug a little deeper and found out that they changed the internal parts that blast the medium, from stainless steel to ceramic, in order to not have internal abrasion and that increased the unit price considerably (their words). My issue is to buy it and then six months later need some spares and can't get them...
