I'm trying to make a little more room in my box for all of the tools I am buying since beginning to frequent this forum :bounce:.

Does anyone have any thoughts about or experience with THIS? I figured that it would free up a drawer in my top box AND let me do something with the prybars that are too long to fit in the box at all.

I have a homemade prybar rack on my toolbox and I really like it since it eliminates alot of wasted space.

It's handy but, you may have to modify the existing holes to fit larger prybars and it may not close over the handles of some prybars like Mac.You also need to compare it to what you're attaching it to as the prybar may be too long.

Yeah, but Snap-on? I heard they only make **** :lol_hitti. Actually, 1)it only holds 4 (so I couldn't put screwdrivers in it too) and 2)it is going on a standard Craftsman box and I'd hate for that to be my *only* SO thing.

I thought about the holes, but the handle issue is a good point. I'll have to check that out!

I just drop my 48" Mac prybar down through the handle of my Craftsman base and the rest of my bars are in the "Pry Bar" / "Torque Wrenches in cases" drawer (Third from the top of the base. I have thought about the Snap-On rack, but I don't have that much exposed edge available.

when I had my shop and had a box that I used portable (take to the car) it was great as there was room on the side of the box to open it when I was using it.
now I am working at my home shop and the car that is bieng worked on gets pulled into the bay that had the boxes at the end of it and I cannot spare the room on the side to open the thing.
its great depending on how you use your toolbox

What sounds good to me is a slot instead of a hole, with maybe a magnetic strip to keep it from falling out.

S shaped holders can work well too. The top of the S is the axle of a hinge, and the tool goes in the bottom half of the S so the weight holds it. The ones I use for stuff like the broom are vinyl coated.
