I know this sounds simple, but with wind (not just any wind, Oklahoma wind), it has proved a challenge. The old house had 3 cars garage. It was built with one, then two added. The one that was built was converted to a den. Then it was converted to a man cave. Lot's of sports memorabilia hanging on the walls. The new house did not come with a man cave. So one of the bedrooms was decorated with all the OK State (OSU, GO POKES!) memorabilia. Instead of the Lincoln bedroom we have the OSU bedroom. The new house garage walls are finished and painted, so things that did not fit the OSU theme I thought I would hang on the garage walls. Most of my posters are a cheaper frame. The size tends to catch the wind and I have replace one of them after hitting the ground. I had a really nice aluminum frame, matted aviation picture that hit the ground. That was the last straw. Also, in falling it could hit one of the cars.

My first thought was coming up with a corner clamp and screwing it to the walls. Wife was not too sure of that, then I suggested double sided sticky tape.

Then I had the best idea, ask you guys. I am sure I am not the first person with this issue. Any thoughts?

I'd just use a security hanger, similar to that in hotel rooms. Hardware isn't visible and costs dollars, depending on which system you use.

OSU, woo hoo, GO Buckeyes :rocker:

Oh wait, nevermind.

If the frames are wide enough, I'd drill through the frames, pay attention to where the holes are, and screw through holes into the wall.

If they are wide enough, bend up some aluminum or sheetmetal "lazy" Z-shaped brackets. Nothing more than a clip to hold the frame securely against the wall.

Thanks, will do some googling.

That would be nicer than the corner clamp I was picturing. Thanks.

Around here we can get away with OSU, but going nationally I knew better. Actually we are starting to identify with OKState more than OSU. The sports team still use the brand. The Real OSU :)

Looks like just what I needed. Just order some. Will report back when installed. :)

Example, little over a buck apiece. ArtRight T-Lock Security Locking Picture Hanger Set for Wood or Aluminum Frames, 10-Pack

youtube example of tips to hang and results
The youtube is a little dry, and the guy admits it at the start, but you can fast forward and learn the tips and see the results.

..You need to say Go SOONERS.....
It's funny, I married into a very OU family. My wife's dad is a 50 year season ticket holder. Her uncle was a ruff neck in the 40's. We married in 2001 and my birthday is Nov, so she bought 2 tickets for my birthday so my son and I to see the game. It was at Norman that year and so I rode with my father-in-law and her nephew. Needless to say, I DID NOT say a word all the way home. I did not start getting season tickets till 2003, so we watched badlem at my brother-in-laws house. Half way through he gets up, says "I have better things to do" and left. I really thought I was going to get kicked out of the family. :) The nephew took over the season tickets from his grandpa. So my son and I rode to the stadium with him in 2015. He was at the car waiting on us. He informed us that he will never give us a ride again. :) I say it joking, but he was dead serious.

I was trying to find the eyes emoji, I found the shortcut is :eyes:, guess the forum does not translate, so this is the best I can do. :)

I just used some Command strips on a framed poster in my garage. The strips are Velcro-like on one side and peel and stick on the other side. With the Velcro-like sides stuck to each other just peel the paper from the other 2 sides and stick on the wall and press the poster against the second adhesive side. Velcro-like feature allows the poster to be removed and the Command strips remove without damage.
