hanging soffit

Hi,

Does anyone have an idiots guide to hanging wood soffit?

I'm using LP vented soffit with LP fascia but didn't get the "plowed" LP fascia...

Keep in mind my background knowledge (very little)...

Make sure you have some help to hold it in place whilst you nail it. I've done it by myself using block ledgers and cuttin the 8ft lengths in half so I could manage them...if I didn't fall off the ladder!
Mark your layouts so you'll know where to nail.
