Don't know if this qualifies as a good deal or not but I thought it was. I'm looking for a cheap die grinder in the tool section and look down and lo and behold there they are...

They have 1/4" and 3/8" drive in metric and SAE socket holders for 9.99 each. They are 13.00 plus shipping elsewhere. I thought it was a fluke so I called another store and viola...they have them too. Apparently they are going to stock them, soooo....I bought all they had.....LOL...ye, I am a tool junkie... :rocker:

I originally purchased mine in 2003 when I worked there, ask the counter guy and he can order the 1/2 drive ones to. If you have not been in there in a while they are carrying new hand and impact tools as well once all the plano-grams are done. They are carrying impact swivels in stock along with spline sockets.

Also make sure they ask for your number as they list in the computer as Lifetime Warranty...I have swapped mine out once as a peg broke off.

Also another tool junkie...

HF trays are all black so no color between MM and SAe - big minus for me. Lowes new ones have MM and SAE on the same piece so you need 2 for a drive size if you want deep and shallow on them - 1 tray for each depth.

Old lowes were ok - I have 1 (only one left in my local store) but I'm not going to spend the extra $ to buy spares (even at $2) and then have to store spares of each tray until I need one. Got enough stuff stored around here that I actually need or want.
