I am in Riverton Wyoming and thinking of building a 50x100 Pole barn, I am curious if anyone has dealt with Hanson Pole buildings, They use a double truss setup vs single that I have seen in a lot of buildings. I plan to insulate the inside and install steel either white or galvanized. Plan to pour concrete floor as well after building is up. Hanson Pole buildings say that you can put posts on 8,10 and 12 foot centers. That sounds crazy to have them that far apart. Would like some good advice as far as what your guys ideas would be to save me a headache down the road.
Thanks in advance

I am slowly building a barn from Hansen, my trusses are on 12 foot centers. The posts are larger, 6x10 for the interior in my case, and the purlins are 2x8 hung between in joist hangers. I have engineer stamped plans for mine, it meets snow, wind, soil, seismic requirements for my area.

There are a lot of different ways to build a pole barn.
