You're kidding, right?

At first, I got excited because I thought these were those anodized aluminum ones (I get all those socket rail manufacturers mixed up), then I clicked the link and was kinda disappointed. As stated above, what's the difference? Color? I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't know.

The only negative I have to say about the harbor freights are that for only the 1/4” some sockets don’t seem to fit and some get stuck but the 3/8 and 1/2 are great for what you pay for.

Difference between HF?

They hold the sockets upside down.
The numbers are easier to read if you're looking down into the drawer
Made in USA

I have both and they both work. Kinda like these better for the above reasons

I'm not a fan of the Hansen trays but they are the original and made in the USA. All others are copy cat designs made overseas.

This is a good price on the Hansens.

Anyone knows if impact sockets will fit the Hanson tray? Specifically I have Sunex 3/8 metric impact set that do not fit my generic tray. I do have other impact size that will need trays as well.

impact sockets fir better in the hanson trays since they don't have the little "wall" in between the deep and shallow rows.

i have impacts in all 3 sizes and they fit fine..

the 'better and cheaper" look the same as HF's. The posts are fatter but shorter and the little tombstones are what keep impacts from fitting.

I have a couple and use them for swivels and torx bits, etc... The Hanson's don't work well for them since the posts are taller.

http://westlingmachine.com/ToolHolders.html buy these and be done had them for two years and still look brand new

I thought about getting those for a long time but honestly I think they picked a bad price point. Should have gone with lesser quality aluminum to get the price closer to ~60 for the set. It may also be because not enough of the manufacturing process is automated and they have too many man hours into them.

Thanx for the heads up. Got mine the other day, no more digging through piles of sockets to find the one I need. I swear one day I'll be completely orgaginized!
