The former company I worked for at the current location had lots of equipment in place. They got outbid on the followup contract renewal, then pulled out of the US entirely, dissolving that entire service arm. The new company that won the bid hired everyone for smooth transition.
The warehouse isn't used as such and surplus shelving and equipment was still present. It wasn't the new company's property, so they didn't want to pay for disposal. The old company isn't around and when contacted wasn't paying shipping. Scrap it locally if you want, we were told.
HMM. Okay, I think I'll 'scrap' this shelving unit for you, thank you very much! I've got my eye on other shelving units during the next cleanup cycle, though this is the only one that has the drawers.
Each drawer is very heavy duty, super smooth gliding, and 48" wide, 24" deep. Full extensions. Whole unit is made locally in Seattle by Engineered Products as part of their Easyup industrial shelving product line.
