....almost. The concrete is curing as we speak and the lumber just arrived. I joined this board when it became a part of the HAMB family and I haven't had much reason to post. But with the structure scheduled to be complete in 2 weeks, I got the feeling I'll be on here a lot more! I'm taking daily progress photos I need to post soon. All of this construction is being contracted out, which is why it is happening so quickly.

The overall pad is 20'x60' and the garage itself will be 30' deep with 12' walls. It will sit on the front half of the pad. The back of the garage will have a roll up door to allow cars to pull all the way through to the back of the pad which will be covered by an aluminum car port eventually. So I should be able to fit 1 or 2 cars in the structure with a decent amount of workspace left over and 3 or 4 cars parked behind.

I won't have water or electricity for a while. But that's not going to stop me from busting *** on fixing up my Dad's '54 Bel-Air as a way to repay him for helping me out so much. Then I'll get back to customizing my '54 4 door Chevy.

Oh yeah, and you guys have way cooler smilies than the HAMB does. :bounce:

Welcome aboard, STM! Can't wait to see some pictures of the place. It sounds like it's going to be great! I'm also in the beginning stages of my build and have found this a great resource with some cool guys and not a single flame war yet!

BTW, that's an AWESOME domain name. Hang onto it forever. Screw the man! :fawk:
