:confused:Hello everyone I am new here but I have been searching the threads and can't seem to find the answer to a couple of questions. First off is there a touch up paint available for the glossy red color? If not has anyone found a real close match to the red? Second, I have seen it posted here about the "new" glue that they are using to attach the badge to the box. I just haven't seen any ideas on how to get this off. My issue is that there is excess glue that seeped out after the US General badge was put on and it looks terrible. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

go to lowes and they have a red spray paint that is real close if not right on the $, thats what i've been useing for touch up. spray into a cut off plastic soda bottle and it should match up after it drys. a few days later wax and it well blend in. as for the glue scrap off as much as you can and then sand whats left, its going to take a few sheets to get it so you can respray when you're done. its going to look great, just take your time.

Regal or Safety Red from Rustoleum. Seems that both are as close as you can get. I have used Regal and it was a tad dark, so Safety Red might be better.

If u just want to remove the badge heat the emblem with a hair dryer or the likeness and use fishing line behind it in a sawing motion.

:dunno:
The heat and fishing line approach will not work on the new glue they use. It's a rock hard epoxy, not affected much by heat.

Any ideas on what will work? I am not interested in removing the whole badge I just want to clean up the excess epoxy that has seeped out. Maybe a dremel or something? I just don't want to make it any worse so maybe I should just live with it unless you have some ideas. Thanks
