harbor freight 14 peice master ball joint adapter set

Is the master 14 peice harbor freight ball joint press adapter set compatible with my China made otc ball joint press?I searched but could not find any info.I imagine it would be,but I figured I would ask before I buy it.

Now, what do you mean by "China made OTC"? I thought the OTC press was USA made?

I myself am in need of deciding whether to buy some tools to press in new ball joints and press out control arm bushings or farm the work out.

New OTCs are US, some older were China. That HF kit will work with either OTC kit.

You always have the option to 'borrow' the tools you will need from places

like Advanced Auto, Auto Zone and others. You put down a deposit, you

use the tools, you get your deposit back when you return the tools. I

understand it helps sell parts to DIY'ers who don't do these jobs all the time,

and don't want to buy the tools. Works out well for situations like yours.

Bull, FWIW doing balljoints and CA bushings are pretty easy. I wouldn't farm it out.

I've thought about buying a master kit, but I've yet to come across a ball joint that I couldn't get out with what comes with the press and a couple pieces of tubing that I've cut down over the years.

But on the other hand, the kit may come in handy, and it helps to keep things neat.
