I am in the process of doing an engine swap in my truck.I am going from a V6 to V8 and will need to change the motor mounts. To do so I need to Jack the front up and drop the a arms to get to the bolts inside the frame. My current floor Jack wont go high enough.I have a coupon for the HF 2.5 ton Jack and 6 ton Jack stands.I don't really need another Jack but its something that I could use and I have a good excuse now to buy one(although my wife thinks I really need one) .This is the Jack in question. http://www.harborfreight.com/25-ton-heavy-duty-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-68049.htmlAnyone have one of these? If so how do you like it?

The coupon is for $74.99 on the 2.5 ton.I have one for the 3 ton as well. Was thinking about the 2.5 ton because it is a little lower profile but has a higher maximum height than the 3 ton.The lower profile will make it nice when I have to do oil change and tire rotations on the wife's grand prix.

Here's a link to the coupon page.Print it out and take it.to the store along with the receipt.
http://widgets.harborfreight.com/ws...page=2712a.html&cust=99999999999&keycode=1002

Also here are two websites for HF coupons. They also have the inside track coupons you print as well.I don't have an inside tracker membership but I use those coupons all the time.Everytime HF puts out new coupons these two sites will have them.

2.5 has nearly a 2'' height lifting advantage over the 3t

What he said plus the the 2.5 ton has a minimum height of 3 3/8" where as the 3 ton is 5.May not seem like alot but that extra 1 5/8 inches of clearance makes a big difference. For what I do 2.5 ton is plenty enough. If I need something heavier I will use my trusty old bottle Jack.
