I picked up one of the 2-ton low profile, long reach floor jacks for $109.00. I've seen it for $99.00 but I'm good with $109.00 coupon after seeing it. I have to say it's a beast. It's really a nicely done piece.

I have another large floor jack but it doesn't hold a candle to this one...I hope it lives. I have a 1964 Morris Mini Cooper with a JDM Honda B18C type-R engine with a Garrett GT2860RS turbo. Needless to say the car is very, very low. This jack slides right underneath any part of it.

I almost pulled the trigger on one of those this week but had to many other things to do so I didn't go (HF is about 15 miles from me). My buddy has had that same one for 2-3 years and loves it.

For what it's worth, I looked at every floor jack they had, the 2 ton, 2.5 ton, 3 ton and even the 4 ton. The 2 ton low profile, long reach really seems to be a very good jack. You pay for the long reach and low profile with reduced lifting capacity and sheer weight. The 2 ton at 93 lbs weighs 21 lbs more than the 3 ton and only 6 lbs less than the 4 ton.

I've had a HF low-profile "racing jack" for about 2 years. It has been a good jack. I just used it this morning to remove the studded tires and install summer tires. I like it as it's light and seems to do everything I need it to do.

a word of caution is when lowering the jack to lever the handle down a little before turning the lowering knob.. else you can(likely will) break the weak U-joint in the base of the handle.
otherwise I've had mine for ~10yrs...
and am in the market for the 3ton jack to replace my 2ton with a broken handle stay-up spring.. really annoying when the handle always tries to fall on your car/stuff or is laying horizontal lurking around corners..
