Looking for ways to fine tune cradle height without drilling new pin holes. Any ideas?

Shown in the pic is, Square Tubes layed across pins front and back of cradle. This raises cradle by about 2inch, and splits the difference between holes and seems to work but it is a bit sketchy.

If the square tubing well is same wall thickness as the channel the table is made of, it's not sketchy. The table isn't able to move enough to shoot the square tube out.

Large rings would do just fine. Magnets to hold them would, to an extent, simplify things.

In the end, the press nose is long enough, and the operating distance of the press is enough, it's unnecessary. When I add a socket, or other cylinder to extend the nose, it more than covers 2", making your method something I never do.

An extendible nose would be a more elegant solution.

Large square bar or a stack of them welded together with the hole drilled thru.

If you play your cards right and make it a rectangle each of the 4 sides with a different dimension to get even more steps.

Yeah I do sockets and misc other shapes of tube to lengthen the press "Nose" for the job. But it seems like everything I typically use the press for the table pins are either to high to to low.

Just pile stuff up between your workpiece and the press plates, or between the press plates and the cradle. I have a box of various chunks of aluminum and steel plates next to the press for this purpose
