Harbor Freight 26” Tool Chest - Price?

The best price I’ve seen in past for the 16 drawer 26” tool chest is $299-$319. I figured there would be a Labor Day sale on the tool chests but no such luck.

Has anyone seen any good pricing on these lately. The adds for the $299 & $319 look old.

It is my understanding that the 26" 16 Drawer has been discontinued and replaced with the Series 2.

I think they raise the prices before they put things on Holiday Sales......

20% Discount Coupons don't apply to Tool Chests or much else if you look at the fine print.

I'd go look at them in the store and write down the prices....join the inside track club....and then wait until a "real" sale price shows up....usually the following month.

I just picked up a 26" bottom cabinet in blue for $199, open box since the forklift skimmed the corner as it was coming off the truck. Very minor damage, took me maybe 3 minutes to fix, most of the time I was looking for the right hammer. I would buy another one tomorrow if the same thing happened.

Those are discontinued so you wont find a valid coupon.
They now sell the tops and bottoms separately. There is a $279.99 coupon for the bottom cabinet right now. They've been as cheap as $249.99, but they been raising their cabinet prices so I doubt you'll see them that cheap again.
I follow their coupons pretty close and I've never seen a coupon for the top cabinet.

can't see you doing much better than that on the 26"
in current climate holding out likely cost you more and for potential of 10 or 20 bucks it not worth hassle or gamble ....
