Let me start off by saying I have exhausted the search button trying to find all the pictures I can. Mainly just wanting to see drawer pics so I can see what this thing can really hold. Have an opportunity to be a tech at a dealership and have been debating on picking one of these up. Also maybe we can turn this into a dedicated thread for drawer pics of this box!

Try youtube, plenty good video tours on the harbor boxes .
shallower drawers seem better for layout of mechanical handtools with some deeper for boxed stuff, air and power tools. Too many deep drawers waste space or mean stuff stacked and pain get too.
For that money range it harbor or husky. 44" not bad size and add on side cabinets make it expandable cheaply . draw back is 44" is only 18" depth, the 56" box is 22,3/4" depth but they don't do matching side lockers and drawer layout & plastic latching won't be liked by everyone. 56" makes a nice box and worktop area. If buy one inspect on collect/be prepared for at least one return .

Yep, the one big drawback to the 44" is the 18" depth. I actually have a few combination wrenches that won't fit unless you put them on an angle and that kinda *****. They're probably a little big for everyday use though. I got an extended set of Wrightgrips and Superrenches on a deal.
You can fit a lot of sockets in that top drawer though. It is certainly nice.

Indeed still holds fair bit of tools and top drawer works good on socket gear .
would of been far smarter using same depth and design trimming on all sizes as side cabinets etc could of been perfect cross match/fit on all range plus make the 44" capacity shine above others in similar pricing .
Good boxes at price but with range depth made standard plus drawer size options added and drawer latching revised to something better and again standard across box sizes they could take all the business in that price range . It would be so easy improve with minimal price increase yet massive more market appeal .

Top drawer easily fits a complete set of metric and SAE in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 plus some bit sockets and such.
I have two sets of wrenches so I separated them by metric and SAE.
That big wrench in the back is a 1-3/8 for scale.

Great pics guys! I have a big box at home but I don't feel like moving it to the shop in case things don't work out. I figure this will hold enough to get me started and if it looks like things will work out and that I'm going to be there awhile I can take this box home and take my big box in.

The depth is good in my garage. It's only a single bay so space on the sides is premium realestate. I could fit a deepER box at the back of the shop, but then I'm walking back and forth more, whereas my 44 sits right next to the engine bay.

Agree, the depth is great and fits my space perfect. Any deeper would cut too far in.

You may also want to shop @ Sears. Seems like they are blowing out a lot of their stuff.
Last Christmas, I got one of their professional series top and bottom 41" cabinets for $700 out the door. I'll measure when I get home, but I think the depth is deeper than 18", but not much. Bonus was that both boxes were made in Canada.

It's all about how you organize it. These photos were taken a few months ago when I was in the middle of selling off the last of my gearwrench ratchets and ratcheting wrenches and replacing with better stuff

Darn it's 18" deep that killed it for me I was looking at them online and in paper hell I thought that 24" Snap on wasn't really deep enough I have a lot of sockets and no way could I fit them with all my ratchets and extensions in the top drawer all together my rats and extensions would take up a top each by themselves although I was looking at the top box which is on sale for 259$ with coupon it might be the only way.

I will get some pics of mine in the AM if I can remember. Just moved into it from a jam packed HF 5 drawer cart and tools scattered all over.
