On a side note, I wish they'd stop that "Comp at" price ****. Tell me what YOU sell it for normally, and the sale price, so I know what I am saving at your store. I'll figure my own comps, thank you ;)

I might have to go look at them, I was planning on getting a 56" next time I went there but still not sure which one I want. Just looking at the drawer sizes I think I would like the 56" better.

Just saw this today.

Dang! That doesn't happen everyday

No, only about once a month!

Not since Black Friday...

Yep. For $349.99

It's always on sale between $369-389... so nothing crazy here

Can I have that $20-$40 you don't care about?

Ive wanted this box or two for awhile and missed the black friday deal. I was hoping the next sale would be around memorial day closer to my birthday. Might have to pull the trigger sooner.

This. What exactly are they comparing at that cost $1,029.99? I'm sure everybody knows.

You could buy 2 of these 44" boxes and still have beer money left over before you bought a 56" box. Just sayin.

Well the current coupon for the 56" is $699, but the reason is I want to put it under my bench and the 56" is 3.5" deeper than the 44" so it would be wasted space if I got the 44", and I don't have the room for 2 44" under the bench.

Ah, I didn't see the coupon. And thats what I want to do with 2 44's. The width and space for 2 of those makes up for the lack of depth compared to the 56 for me.

Well, ****. Bought this a week ago.

take your receipt in to HF when the sale starts. If it has been within 30 days, they will issue a refund of the difference.

They have done it for me before. It is written in small print on the coupons.

I know a lot of you guys like the HF box but I still am sitting on the sidelines, last time I had a good look see at that box it seemed that the sheet metal looked a bit flimsy to the touch.

Are the HF boxes really that good???
What is the gauge of the sheet metal that they are using to build there boxes?

Don't know what you want to compare it to... but it's a steal for what you get. My older Craftsman is flimsy'er and has no BB slides, granted it's probably 15+ years old.

Next worthwhile step up, IMHO, is tool-truck stuff... now your talking probably 8-10x the cost. You could buy a few HF boxes in your career and still be ahead.

I bought two and a top box at the black Friday sale. I'm thinking real hard about getting 3 more this time and building a Steevo work bench with 4 of them, leaving one with the top box to hold all my machinist tooling. I figure it will be quicker and not much more expensive than finishing the wooden benches I had started, and a lot nicer drawers. Get'm now before HF screws them up.

Guys, don't lose your mind over getting to that sale because you think they won't be that low again, I just looked through the latest issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (and I'm sure other mags ) Harbor Freight has an ad for that same tool box albeit $20 more ( $369.99 ) **BUT** the coupon is good till JUNE 12, 2016. Just an FYI.

The $20 nearly covers the sales tax vs buying at 369.99. If someone is ready to pull the trigger, why not and save enough to pay for a few days' lunch.

Yep. I bought one on 2/18 for $369 and went back tonight and got my twenty bucks back no questions asked.

i couldn't do it and told her that it was the wrong item.... *****, even if it was her fault she could have easily been fired and claimed that she stole it by loading it up instead of the right item. damn conscience

hope to pick it up soon. a few bucks doesn't break the bank so if its not this weekend at the outdoor sale it'll be when i'm ready.

i've got so many crappy small tool boxes, i put nice tools in bad boxes because the boxes don't make them work any better... lol

You're a good man!
I stood in a line of 10 people one time to give a cashier back the $1 she gave me back in change that was too much. Couple of hood rats were like 'Whaaat? You gave it back to her?? You stoopid?" "Yes, that might be your sister of mother that would lose her job over a $1 mistake."

FWIW, I paid $349 for my 44" two years ago on the New Years Day sale they had. Got top and bottom and two sides all at the same time.
