Picked up one of the HF rolling chests some of you guys like. Seems pretty nice to me. Had a coupon for $369 and change, so totaled out less than 400 bucks. Now it's not a Mac, not a Snapper or any truck brand, BUT, BUT, BUT there was not a 3 in front of the 400 bucks. Most of my stuff rides in a work truck so the shop tool chests are not a "must have the very best" priority.

Yup I have two of the roller cabs, one old paint, one new and one new paint top box. Good boxes for the money only complaint is COO.

I have heard of people getting this for under 3 bills, or is this a different chest? Couple of our new techs have this, seems like a really decent chest for the money.

I plan on picking up one of these cabinets on Wednesday. Does anyone have a coupon for one?

I got two of these for under 3 bills but that was when you could use the 20% off coupons on top of the sale price. HF has quit letting you use the 20 off coupons on these, see the fine print at the bottom for all the exclusions. I don't think you can get a new one today for less than the $349 plus tax if applicable.

Right. All the new 20% coupons all exclude tool carts and cabinets. :(

i got one a few months ago also, and am totally pleased with it so far.. the price can not be beat, and you cant complain about COO on a box of this size and quality, for the price they can be had.

one feature i noticed recently, which is pretty cool and none of my other boxes had... if you lock the box up, and forgot to have a drawer or two not fully pushed in and locked, you DO NOT have to unlock and reset the drawers. you can shut them while the rest of the box is locked, and it will lock the drawers you missed.. maybe this is normal on other boxes, but none of mine ever did that.. and i always miss a drawer or two when locking up it seems

the craftsmans definitely dont lock like that. i figured some higher ende boxes would include that feature...

i never thought about it until i heard it click in locked, and i realized how many times i used to lock..... then unlock.... then lock again to get it right.

That is a handy feature. I lock my box at work and if I only need to put few tools back I will lock it and leave a few drawers cracked then when I get done with the job I can just put the tools back and close the drawer.
