Harbor freight 44in differences

Am I missing something between the two of these? Is one simply have the US General under the lid and the other doesn't?

As a side note: does HF generally do black friday? Is it better than the normal holiday sales?

They're the same. HF often has the same item with two different sku numbers. But no idea why no sticker on the one.

The different nos. reflect different suppliers of the "same" item. There are often subtle differences, sometimes significant differences. One example is the 20 ton shop presses. Some are bolted at the corners, some welded

Sometimes it is more than two. They are from different vendors or with differences from the same vendor. Who knows? If you go to the respective manuals, when available, you can sometimes spot the differences. Sometimes it is unimportant but sometimes one is distinctly better than another. If it is for any real money, it pays to research it. At one point, since discontinued they had two 5hp, 60 gal, 2 stage compressors, both listed as 2 stage only one of them really was, the other was only single stage. Same price. The pretender is now fortunately gone. They buy a lot of stuff and often use more than one item to fill the same requirement, like the 20 ton shop press. Don't bother to ask them, they don't know or care. You have to do your own homework.

The last couple of years they did a black Friday sale, the 44 in box was on one of them for sure, not positive about the other. Good Luck
