edit: The % off has gone down to 19.2% before any other discounts. So $404 now

Raise.com has HF gift cards for up to 25% off. They have several $500 amounts. This of course is before using the standard 20% in store HF coupon.

I know if you buy through Sear's Fount app (good only on iOS, boo!), that they are currently giving back 8% in points (might be different for your 1st purchase, as I got 20% last week when i signed up)

What is this sorcery? People sell their gift cards on this site for cash? Have you tested the reliability? Seems like a good deal.

I've bought several cards off the site, none this much, but never had a problem. They do have a buying guarantee. Typically my savings were around 10%, so this is fairly hot imo.

I've never bought from Raise, but I've bought many gift cards from their competitors. Some people sell to them for cash, but I also think they somehow work out deals to get discounted cards new from the retailer. There is always a risk as somebody else has access to the card info, so you want to make sure to use it within the guarantee period.

As far as this deal, I'm only seeing them discounted to $404, unless you're counting your 8% back as a further discount.

It was 25% off (proof), now only 19.@%. Might be do to popularity, I really can't say.

I'll update the title of thread if I can

Make sure its a physical gift card and not store credit. I got burned for about $125 from one of those GC sites when Lowes changed their policy to requiring the physical card the credit was on which made the "digital Gift Card" I bought absolutely worthless. Went from simply trying to save sales tax (6%) to out over a hundred bucks. Lesson learned, wont touch those sites anymore.

Its a big racket to buy during promotions or use a stolen credit card then return it without receipt for full price credit then dump the store credit to these sites hence the policy change like I mentioned.

Raise is probably one of the more stringent providers. There are several reports of transactions not going thru, until the buyer contacts them to prevent fraudulent purchases. Like I said, I haven't had a problem with the several cards I have bought. Not sure if it helps, but Sears does a ton of promotions with them, and I have been paid in points on every single one!

they do have:

1 Year Money-Back Guarantee
Gift cards on our marketplace are provided by verified sellers. All orders are covered by our 1 Year Money-Back Guarantee.

These do come the form of an online code or voucher for in-store use, probably the same code.
