I know the 72" tool box drawers did not pull out enough, so the back of the drawer would not be flush with the front of the cabinet...is that still the case now, and is the same true for the 56" also?

I just took a tape measure to mine. The bottom is 3 1/2" from flush. The top is 4" from pulling out to flush. This is on the 56" top and bottom chests.

Thanks for checking, I appreciate your time. I will hold off on the HF boxes then, that's a lot of space left back there.

I have the 56" bottom chest that's about 2 months old. The back of the deep bottom drawer is only 1/2" short from the front edge of the closed drawer above it. The top drawer is about 1.5" short of the front of the chest. Looks like it's been changed.

Well that's a lot better.
I guess I'll have to go look, just didn't want to take a 2 hour round trip for nothing.
Thanks for the info.

i have the 56" and i dont notice any wasted space from the drawer not opening all the way. i have not measured it but i believe its about 2 inches maybe less. Either way it doesn't hinder my use in anyway.
