Love my HF 56” roller. Bought it in 2012 for my hot rod garage. Holding up great. Tons of room. The drawers slam close and it bothers me. Picked up a $200 craftsman top chest for overflow and the slow close drawers are so nice. Little hard to open but they break in. I took a drawer out and noticed on the slides at the end all the way deep in the box there is a “tang” for a detent I suppose but there is nothing there.
* anyone up grade there slides of have a good DIY hack?
The grip latches don’t bother me really Iv have gotten used to them
When I pulled a draw I noticed a strip of padding on a beam in the back of the shell. I’m thinking maybe a slightly thicker foam to absorb the rough closure?
