Harbor Freight 56" Tool Box Toppers?

My local store finally has the 56" top on display. It looks nice, but I agree that the top tray is too shallow to be useful. I wasn't crazy about how it doesn't sit down flush on the bottom box either. There is a 3/8" gap between the front of the boxes.

I wonder how long it will take them to add side cabinets or lockers to this system.

planning on getting one for my hf tool chest soon,not shure its gona fit with all the trim work about the shop.or maybe just keep lid closed or pull away from the walls.

LOL, Its still in the back of my truck! It was too heavy to move by myself. I am going to try and take the drawers out first and if that doesn't work off to borrow my neighbors lift to get it out! And no, you can't have my address!

I was assembling my 44" I used my tractor with with forks on my front end loader and took the bottom box off first. I then got a recovery strap out of my car trailer and wrapped it around the top box until it was at the edge of the tailgate. From there I removed the packaging around the top box and I slid the top box onto the bottom box. It lined up almost perfectly from the pallet to the bottom box. I had the wheels locked on the bottom box. Easy peasy.
