Holy **** Mr. Peabody!!!!!!

Someone hopped in the wayback machine and found this.....

True, but this thread still seems relevant because it's an extensive discussion of this legendary cabinet.

Go rent a truck with a liftgate for a couple hours.

I actually didn't know rental trucks with liftgates were commonly available, but I just found a couple places in my area that rent them for reasonable prices. Thanks for the idea!

As far as I can tell, the only difference between the Series 1 and Series 2 72" and 56" is the logo.

shocking if it is . Have they not changed the lock
Better drawer latching system or at least strengthening to current style finger bolt latch would of been good, adding proper thick top rubber and a stainless top option would of been nice .
No idea why they not marketing improvements, seem good at writing gibberish but not useful fact, hardly worth a series 2 badge if no proper improvements been done .
Still a pretty good box if gets a 999bucks coupon .
Seems all boxes on 22" depth frame I like see HF stock spare slides and other basics like plastic latches and lock barrels inc keyed alike sets, would help sales if people could see basic stocked spares .

Played with one Saturday. Only difference I recall is that the right bank has its own lock now. Everything else seemed the same including price.

There are two other differences I failed to mention - The drawer liners are different. They appear to be much nicer than the previous ones.

The previous version had a lock for the right bank.

I looked at one at the store on Sunday. One of the drawer latches was broken.

That tiny plastic latch is not impressive and it will break (drawers will go wild) - plastic (dry-rots) crumbles...

Next up is the top drawer it is all wobbly/flimsy.

Also, it is reported from others the tread on the wheels (rots falls off) - now with NO drawer latches = box dumping over & injury.

Other options are available for not much more money...

Xin, your posts might be worthy if you cited facts vs. regurgitated hyperbole. Especially as it relates to harbor freight, which a majority of your posts clearly show an axe to grind. Said from a Razorback to another: be better.....

Does anyone have any word on wether the 72” series 2 will be getting multiple colors like the rest of the boxes? It would be sweet to have this thing in black.
