Harbor Freight 72" toolbox in blue is HERE

Anyone have any insider information if they are ever going to come out with their 72" box in blue?

Is rather odd logic why not doing all 3 box sizes in the 3 colors !
seemed rather stupid to me but HF do things that way :-/
For 72" box I be looking at rs pro from napa or masterforce, better boxes better color choice better warranty better parts support and close on price .

yeah I don't get their logic. The RS Pro is expensive!, the masterforce isn't terribly expensive but with shipping its $2,000...oof.

The rs pro is 1399 at napa.
you get a lot for extra 300bucks, stainless top, proper drawer latching system rather than plastic finger latch on one side, 2" deeper box/drawers, better build finish, better warranty and spare parts.
Masterforce is best value for money going if you near a menards .

No idea here but it might just be a matter of inventory depletion first. Now that they are coming out with multiple colors in the smaller boxes, it may take longer for the stock of 72" boxes to be sold.

I doubt the large boxes were as big of a seller as the smaller boxes. I'd imagine the general population that buys larger boxes, is buying other brand name boxes than a US Gen box from HF.

they swapped the 56" and 72" out in stores at same time but not same color options .
only reason I can see is stock handling large sizes in colors but even that poor reason especially as the blue a popular toolbox color .

well theyre definitely losing a lot of people who are waiting for that box to come in another color other than red. Before hand when red was the only option, because of the value and quality, I said screw it and bought the 44" top and bottom and side cabinet. I never thought Id outgrow it and of course we all know how that goes. Now that theyre obviously making them in different colors just not the 72" you have a lot of people either waiting or looking elsewhere including myself.

They should tell people that other colors are in the works or not so we don't all have to guess. If they told me blue was definitely coming out I would gladly wait. But now were in the dark and I am looking at other options. That Homak in that dark blue is looking pretty sweet. Just have to research the quality.

and if you look elsewhere you will see the value to spec you get not as good as you think.
