Finally in the market for a new box. Currently have the old style 44”. Upgrading to a new 72”, blue in color. Looking to find out if there are preferable model numbers as in the 44” and 56” versions.
I have searched and come up empty on the 72” versions.
Thanks in advance for your helpful information.

I believe the 72" boxes are all built in one factory. There was only one part number when I bought my green one last year.

The last time I checked, the 72” only had one sku per color. It’s only produced from one manufacturer, and unfortunately it’s not the better manufacturer. This statement is based on my personal opinion. Others may feel differently.

That doesn’t sound good. Perhaps I should go with one of the 56” Units? :headscrat

they not bad at lowest coupon price.
As stated only one factory supplies the 72"
masterforce 72" is pretty nice but not great deal without local store .

If you have the time to wait for the right deal and are not opposed to taking a short road trip older snap on boxes are all over the place. I have bought 3 this past year for the same or just slightly more than new HF boxes of similar size.

I looked at a Masterforce before i put two HF 44"s together under a 8ft bench last week. Looks like a nice box. My floor is not level and I had to put wood shims under my tall 26" box or I may have went that route since the masterforce its 24" deep compared to 22. My box was stationary anyway so i put levelers on them.

Coming up on 5 years with my HF 72 - in it daily, no broken latches. Agree with others; single part number per color. $999 shipped to my garage floor. Not quite as nice as friends "name brand" - however, he recenty showed me what the total cost was on the payment plan, and it freaked me out a bit. As I get older and rounder, I like my not-as-deep drawers over his; digging stuff out the back of the deep ones, especially down low, is a drag. Enjoy your new blue one!!!!!
