Hi All...I do beleive the HF 41" base unit...when on sale for $299 (coupon, etc.)...is the best value around.

Any idea of how often they put this unit on sale? I beleive the best deal was from a coupon...how do you be sure you are on their "coupon list"?

I do receive the HF internet coupons...but they seem quite small...like $1 off type stuff?

Thanks...Tom R

I saw it on sale in November and December when I picked the Bottom tool cabinet. Still waiting for the top to go on coupon sale. Overall, I like the bottom cabinet especially at the $299. price!

Are you talking about the 41" stainless box or the 44-3/4" red or black powdercoat box?

Even a 20% off coupon will bring it down to $319.

I agree that the bottom cabinet is a real value...and quite good quality...and the $299 price is great. With all those on the site that follow HF...I hope/trust that we WILL know when it goes on sale again??? Tom R

If you are known by the manager, they can override a coupon with no expiration date if the register kicks it out. A little better to do that right at opening or just before closing on a weekday/night.

Hey TxDoc...the link does not work?

Anyone know if the US General Logo on the front of the bottom box is a double sided tape?...or is it rivited?

If the store does not have one can you order and take deleivery from the store with no frieght charge?

Thanks...Tom R

I'm currently considering the HF 90320 13-drawer rolling chest, but there's something I can't figure out about it. On the website (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=90320), it's listed as having "23,138 cubic inches of storage space." The one listed in this forum which appears to be the same thing and has all the same measurements is listed as having "11,528 cubic inch storage capacity." And when I calculated it myself using the listed drawer dimensions I came up with ~10854.in^3:

(36.75*16*3.5) + (5*22.125*16.25*2.125) + (22.125*16.25*5.375) + (5*11.875*16.25*2.125) + (11.375*16.25*5.375) = 10854.328125

So my question is, which of these numbers is right? I'm guessing it's the one from the website, which seems reasonable if you assume the listed drawer dimensions are incorrect (when compared to the overall dimensions, and looking at the picture, it's obvious one or the other is way off). Anybody have one of these or have a HF close by that they can verify the actual capacity?
