I saw their Black Friday flyer the other day. I don't remember thinking there was anything that I'd make a special trip to HF for.

It seems like most of the really good deals at HF have gone away as they have gotten more and more well known. Every once in a while I see a good deal on the ads in the magazines or in the email I get, but most of the time its the same old **** over and over. Plus, now you can not use the 20% off coupon for tool boxes, air compressors, hydraulic jacks, or any of the larger items. Don't know why I even bother at this point....

I think it's just that all the deals repeat so often, it's become sort of a joke. The HF stuff is still priced low, it just doesn't seem like it since it's on sale 75% of the time.

The HF Black Friday deals have been definitely unimpressive. My #1 BF hit is Lowes - many of the same deals from year to year, but I can checkout in the comfort of my own home and have their employees go pick and reserve my stash, or I can go to the store and not have to deal with 50,000 people.

Menards has some decent deals (mostly on junk - not tools/etc. like Lowes) but it's an absolute disaster in the store... with lines for hours from the front registers wrapping around the store.

I don't think I'd stand in a line like that even if Pam Anderson was at the end giving free BJ's. Screw that.

I was in HF the other day and was thinking the same thing. I could get many of the same items in Home Depot for the same price.

Yup. I came in once, picked up a couple things, looked around and realized that my time is worth may more than the bucks I'd be saving on **** I didn't need anyway :p

I am a big Menards fan too... I am there every day other than Black Friday :)

What good deals does lowes sport? Sounds like a good place to check out.

How do you do the online order with in-store pickup for BF items?

Can we expect some decent sale on the 3 ton aluminum jack? I've been eyeing it for a while, but the price seems to be stuck at $199! Has anyone seen a better price on that one lately?

The recoiling hose reel is on sale right now for $49.99

http://www.harborfreight.com/25-ft-...dium=email&utm_campaign=4112a&utm_source=1002

Coupon ad page is here: http://widgets.harborfreight.com/ws....html&cust=99999999999&keycode=1002&hftref=cj

If those don't work just go to the reel and type in coupon code 99978711

It's only valid until Oct. 31st 2012, just as an FYI
IIRC the hose reel on sale for $59 is the 50 ft one, that is the 25 ft one you linked to

FWIW I bought the same reel from Northern last year on BF (50 ft) for $50, they might have it again
