Hey guys,
I bought the Harbor Freight blast cabinet (on sale at $209 +$7 shipping, then applied a 25% off coupon) and will be ordering some TP Tools upgrade parts. I have a 7-1/2HP, 24CFM air compressor in my pole building garage that I'm going to feed it with, so I'm planning on getting the higher volume 5/16" blasting nozzle & feed assembly.
I have a 3/8" foot pedal valve and I figured I'd just gut the HF gun assembly and turn it into a straght-through handle. Until my cabinet appears, I
I wondered if I need the whole gun though. Will I be shooting myself in the foot by not buying the handle & all from TP tools:
Will the HF handle probably flow enough if I gut it? Have any of you guys gone this route or had it apart enough to know if it would restrict the flow too much? Any other thoughts?
