I haven’t used that Light, but the Braun 390 lumen folding magnetic light is a lifesaver. Great light for the toolbox, also rechargeable so you don’t have to have it plugged in.
For the price it puts out decent light and used it several time for auto repair. Brighter than the older fluorescent light but the round shape doesn't lay flat. Magnet is decent but not trustworthy.
I'm not a fan of it. One of the things I don't like is that the LEDs tend to be directional whereas the higher end LED lights and fluorescent lights aren't directional. Now, HF sells a LED flashlight that is the bomb.
I have an old style trouble light on a cord reel hanging from the ceiling. It has a 100w equilavent LED to keep the heat down. Do you guys think it would be worthwhile to rewire the HF 450 lumen drop light onto the cord reel in place of my current old style trouble light?
