Best bet would either to go to a hardware store and find a pin or use a breaker bar rebuild kit.

Well you got me to thinking so I had to try it.The handle is from a 3/8 HF breaker bar and the ratchet head is a kobalt. The breaker bars are held together with a screw. Its not a perfect fit but with a shim it should work just fine.

I cobbled one up and used a wavy washer if memory serves me or a star lock washer. Works well

HF breaker bars use a screw and also 2 clear plastic very thin shims.

I broke the screw on my 24" HF bar so bought a allen head cap screw and replaced it instead of pitching it. Works fine now.

The HF bars work great and repurposing them is even better.

They are no Snap-On but they do the job if asked.

Nice swap.

that's pretty slick. that would have to be the 3/8 drive 17" breaker bar item number 67931.

i was looking at the pictures of the different breaker bars and the heads on the half inch breakers are opposite, meaning the head fits over the end of the breaker rather than the head sliding into the end if the breaker. clear as mud?

You are correct. Here's a pic for comparison 1/2 on the left and 3/8 on the right.

And don't forget to use a little Blue Loctite on those HF flex attachment screws/bolts. If not, they do work their way loose. BTDT many times.
