I have a Harbor Freight 44" box, was wondering if anyone knows if the casters on the Harbor Freight 56" box will work on the 44? The HF website is useless for this so any help is appreciated. I am also open to any suggestions on caster upgrades that have worked for you guys, nothing that will break the bank though. Much thanks.

McMaster Carr catalog has a great read on how to choose casters. You should be able to look it up on line. In choosing casters, you need to know what weight capacity you need, mounting hole pattern, swivel/standard for turning, wheel lock, swivel lock. Bearing types, wheel materials, and any other option.
Just about everything in my garage and basement is on casters. I can usually find them cheap at flea markets.

If you can, check the bolt pattern. Ive noticed HF casters always have a funky, non standard pattern.

If you have Amazon Prime, they have a pretty good selection of casters.
