lol I was in HF and they had a clearance section, a whole bunch of stuff on a table marked down to $1.00.

They also have a section in the back corner with marked down stuff.

Talk about cheap stuff...

Hey the price is right, I'd buy just about anything they had in the clearance section for a buck!

Wow, the stuff that the normal Harbor Freight customers would not buy.

In the UK store "Do-it-All" I have NEVER found anything worth buying on the clearance table.
Mind you, it doesn't stop me looking...

Ours they don't PRICE the product, so you have to negotiate every single item. Thus I ignore it mostly.

One time they did price it and I bought a complete set of long SAE wrenches for 2.75, a set of 'pro' sockets, half inch drive, for less than 2.75 and some dikes for a quarter.
Great stuff for the ‘lend, wrecking yard’ box.

There are just so many cheap utility/razor knives, 12v circuit testers, electrical tape packages, epoxy, hooks, and scissors a guy can use. Given the quality, most of the items probably wind up in the trash anyway --

BTW -- Their electrical tape shouldn't even be called "tape" since it doesn't really stick to anything (except itself).

I roam the aisles of HF like a lost child, the clearance corner is just one more part. ;)

Lately nothing good, or 22 socket set missing 3 for 10% off, but I did find a NICE 1/2 drive speeder extension (6" extension with full plastic handle around it).

I checked out the clearance section and found 4 Mechanics Time Savers 12"x6" Magna-Panels for $5 and then used the 20% coupon on top of that. I'm not sure what I'll use them for, but I'll think of something.

one thing that did catch my eye was a wind up USB charger for $1.00.

You can plug an electronic device in it that has a USB cable, then crank the handle and it will charge it.

A fresh-smelling charger for $1.00 - can't beat that deal.

I tend to only buy Harbor Freight, "premium" items, not the HF "bargains". You can tell what is good, and what is junk, just by looking at most of it.

You missed the point... the premium stuff ends up in there too. It's often stuff that's missing one piece or has a destroyed box.

Thanks! I don't have a HF retail outlet here, so online is about it. I have been in a store, near my dad's place, but never saw the clearance table.

Most interesting item on Do-It-All's clearance table this morning was a broken, as in cracked and in bits except for the tape holding it together, electric light switch. WTH use is that to anybody?
It was 50pence - a new, in the bubble, working and unbroken one costs £2...
