I have to disagree with you on fire extinguishers. They sell the exact same Kidde extinguisher for $30 (after 25% coupon) that HD sells for $40.

I've never seen (until now) a 20% on entire purchase. I would never have thought to use IN ADDITION - a 25% off 1 item and individual sales coupons along with the 20 Entire purchase. Have others besides DoItMyselfToo, done this? I've been going to a brand new store in IL and yesterday I heard a manager saying to a customer at check out - no I can't use that - it's a PICTURE of a coupon, not from an email...... which wowed me.

EDIT: I just read my 20 % off entire purchase coupon and my says can't be used with any other coupon or discount,.....

mocars2 - I received the same coupon. I read it too, I am insure if this is a change. I know that I have done it several times before with no issue. Also seems strange that one couldn't in that it says "Take An Extra 20% Off a Your Entire Purchase Of $100 Or More". This implies that one has received a discount on items and with this coupon shall receive a further discount. I would present all my coupons except that one and wait for the checker to be just about finished ringing it up. Then say, "Oh yeah, I have this one too, extra 20% off entire purchase." If the checker questions, say, "It says extra 20%."

Last time I used one, you could not use the 20% off entire purchase and 25% off one item together, but you can use the 20% off entire purchase in the same order as individual item coupons, but the 20% off will not apply towards those discounted items, and those items don't count towards the minimum purchase price to get the discount. So your purchase of regular/sales price items must add up to $50,75 or $100 in addition to your individual coupon items.

Thanks guys, I've came up with the same conclusion. Since you can't combine any coupons with the 25% off coupon that best price is the $37.49 one, which isn't bad considering it's the new revised version.

This new model with metal fence & angle bracket just replaced the old bad model (plastic) and it's getting pretty decent reviews.

Some of the power tools can be really good.

One example: The sanding pad on my 6" Festool orbital sander took a **** and while at HF I saw the 5" orbital sander with dust collector on sale for $19 (less than half the price of one new pad for my Festool) so I bought one for a quick job and now I'm using it all the time. Since I don't care about it, I try to break it everyday sanding rusty metal with it and jamming it into places i can't really reach but it just keep going and without making a dust storm. It's not perfectly balanced but still does a great job: Go figure!

My coupon and the one above doesn't have the word - EXTRA - just says 20% and with them cracking down lately - I would say 20 is all you'd get. So IMHO - using the 25% on 1 item and regular coupons is probably a better deal anyway. There isn't a time I couldn't get by with buying just a couple of items with coupons; the 25 off and a freeby

I've been trying very hard to famboozle my local HF (all 3 of them) to let me use a 20 or 25 percent off on the 44" US general.

I've had no luck.. I even found a coupon on slick deals that you have to write your name and email on that doesn't say what you cannot use it on and got denied.

Going back tonight to buy the box with the 359.99 coupon haha

Matt, you might try buying a gift card online for a discount, that way you are getting a little more off. Every once in a while I find HF gift cards on sale for 10% off their retail value. I try to pick one up every once in a while so I'm getting 10% off the already great prices

I think I have seen ITC coupons for those in the past, though it's not common and I bet the 25% is either the same deal or a better deal.

My dad found a coupon for the 44" top chest for $279 good till 5/18/14. I will get the link and post it when I get to a computer.

Just got the 44" today, he got it for me as an early birthday gift. Pretty damn sweet.

Does anyone have a valid coupon for the 1000 lb motorcycle lift for less than $339? And anyone had any success using a 20 or 25 percent coupon with it?
