Here are a few that I thought were worthwhile.

Hopefully everyone can use them.

does anyone have the 20% off coupon that actually works on toolboxes? - I had one but I took it in with me and they denied it - even though it had no exclusions on it. :dunno:

So I just went into harbor freight to buy a tool chest tonight and I said what the hell let me try this old 20% off coupon and see what happens. They typed it in and said "mope it doesn't work" so I said can you get a manager? The manager comes to the register and takes a look at it and said "I haven't seen a coupon like this ever". He looks it over and says it is an actuall harbor freight coupon and even though it doesn't type in to the computer he says we have to accept it. He presses whatever he has to and overrides it and BOOM!!! 20% off of a big *** tool chest. Whooooohoooow!!!

You have to print it out and fill in the information and they mail it off to probably corporate.

Thanks Brian for the information!

I tried this earlier this month on a 56 inch tool box. Had it all filled out but they said Nada....

Oh well, hoping to score this box below 699 by the end of the year...

~Cheers~

Cleveland. We rock.
What does anyone use these for? Part of me wants to pick one up, but I don't think it would be that useful.

I just got one off craigslist a week or two ago. All bigger stuff in cases like ball joint press, axle bearing pullers, tap & die set etc fit on the bottom, and on the shelf I fit all my cordless tools. I need to fab another shelf, it only comes with one. For me, it's great, it fit a few things that wouldn't fit in the 44 and freed up the deep bottom drawer (and more). Ymmv :)

Watch MechanicNamedJohn 's video of his HF box. That's the best way to decide if you want one or not.

Perfect example. In my old garage I needed the top chest because it was a 1 car that was stuffed full of ****. Now I have a basement stuffed full of **** and a 2 car that gives me some room to work. My original plan was to keep the top chest (actually now they have become 2 top chests) and put 2 lockers on either side. Instead I'm considering selling the tops and I'm getting another bottom and 7 drawer side. Works better for me since I'm not that tall, I got more usable drawers but never used them efficiently. Plus they block the only outlet on that wall.

So basically, they're an option, and might be a great option. Or might not. depends on you.

I think he's looking for % off the entire purchase, not just a single item. Its been awhile since I've seen one of those coupons and generally they are only good for one day or a weekend iirc

Got an old lady? Take her with... Makes it go faster. Usually they make me make several different transactions, but don't refuse me using it. It also helps if they aren't busy, too.
I do it all the time, and have had good luck.

there isn't a coupon for it now. but the black friday ad will have it so it will be 'regular price' 349 that weekend.

Welding table/ welding cart:

Oops, expired

I bought one, not overly impressed with the top.

Stand went together OK, but the attachment and flatness of the top is less than desirable.
