I was able to use a 25% off on the scissor trans jack I bought a few months ago, so the computer will let them do it with no override.

Re: New style arbor plates for 20 ton shop press.

Wonder if Harbor Freight will make those available separately? I would rather prefer to avoid the old exploding cast iron ones (which is what I have now).

Huh? :headscrat

Were they packed with C4 and the new ones aren't? Excuse my ignorance.

There are many reports of the cast ones busting into pieces while under pressure. Sometimes Sending pieces flying towards the operator

Several pictures online of people who have been hit by the pieces

Try putting the item in your cart on harborfreight.com . Then put the coupon in and see if it works. If it does, print it out and take it into the store. Shouldn't be a problem for them to do it then.

I did.. and it did work on the website. They still refused to honor it in store. Cashier said she'd get screamed at later if she put it in, even though it probably would technically "work"

Pretty sure I could have came back later to a different cashier and they would have put it through though. The cashiers there that day were the best/fastest I've ever seen at HF, so I'm guessing they were pretty experienced (Saturday afternoon and it was BUSY)

Ah well. In hindsight I think the jack crossbeam thing I got will work just as well if not better. I have to put the rear cradle/transmission back in a corvette and it's a pretty wide piece. Angle, etc. isn't all that important, so some of the features of a transmission jack wouldn't have been all that much help.

Also got some straps to strap the whole mess to the beam

Does anyone have a current 20% off entire purchase coupon? I need a few things for work and live about 20 minutes away from the nearest HF.

Too true. I was there yesterday and I swear I saw at least 3 of them getting rolled out to the parking lot in the hour I was there

I'd hate to know the volume of those things that they move

The quality is decent and the price is more than right. If I didn't have a craftsman stack already, I'd get the 56 and chest for sure.

$160 out the door after taxes.. 20 ton hydraulic press

This thing was a BEAST to get into the car. I felt like my car was dragging the ground the whole way home

Will put it together Saturday! Hopefully I got everything (there is a 2nd box that isn't pictured)

Should fit OK if seats fold down. The main box is long (height of the machine) but not that big in other directions

Second box is just the jack and a few bolts and stuff, so nothing to worry about there

It fit in my Honda Accord fine with the back seat folded down

Cleveland. We rock.
FYI, the free magnetic strips are made up of 8 rectangular magnets, if you need magnets. They are a little smaller than the 2 packs of ceramic magnets they sell, so a little weaker.

Just chisel and hammer and they'll come right out. Plus you get the fairly heavy coated metal c-channel for some project, I don't know what yet, maybe strengthen the shelf I made for the HF side cabinet.

Don't count on any replacement parts. I asked about some replacement parts for industrial air filter regulator:
http://www.harborfreight.com/industrial-air-filter-regulator-68247.html

They said I basically had to buy a new one because they don't generally sell replacement parts through the stores, I could possible mail order it.

How to order parts (from the HF website:

HOW DO I ORDER REPLACEMENT PARTS?
Many of our products have replacement parts available for purchase. To purchase a part, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-444-3353, Monday thru Saturday 5am to 9pm (PT), Sunday 6am to 6pm (PT), or via email. Specify the product name, item number and description of the part when making your inquiry.

That email is [email protected]

Anybody have a coupon for the 6 in. Variable Speed Dual Action Polisher P/N 69924. Looks like last year it was around $29-39.99.

Thanks

I called regarding parts for paint spray guns (different size tips/needles). I was hoping to get some larger nozzles for some of the guns. I gave them pretty much every model of gravity feed gun, got the same answer: no parts available, even the original size not available.

I picked up a "44" Saturday, then went back for another. (SUV, so only one per trip). Put them end to end, and noticed that they aren't exactly level -- gap on top, touching at bottom. I will have to shim the casters at some point -- both cabinets are lower on the caster end (opposites for the two). Not really planning on rolling them, so for now I put shims on the floor.

The best coupon I've seen for that polisher was $49.99. Haven't seen any lately, but they are usually in the car magazines.

They have a different polisher that is not D/A that regularly has a coupon for $29.99. P/N 60626. Not nearly the machine that the other polisher is, though.

Yeah right now it's around 67.99 and with the 25% off it will get it down around $50.00 that probably is the best I can do.

I put shims on the front two wheels to keep the drawers from creeping open.

Just pull off the paper cover and the magnets come out with a minimum of effort

I am looking at the 56 and the 72 for a possible Christmas present to myself
