Thank you.

would you mind checking back in with a review of them.. kinda temped to pick up a set. but the ones in the stores are bolted to the wall to I can't really see if they would flex under load or even take a peek at the backside.

My neighbor bout these last week, he added a safety chain and hook to each ramp......the safety chains/hooks can help if the ramps started to move back.

To test the ramps we loaded his new Husqvarna riding mower into his utility trailer, the mower weights about 470 lb. plus 200 lb. plus for the driver....no problems.

Loading a mower in the back of a pick-up truck would scare me though, the height of a truck box would be a angle I would prefer to avoid with these ramps.....backing the mower onto the ramps might be an option though.

Again, I would suggest safety chains with hooks be added to each ramp, hope this helps some.

For those who haven't had a chance to see the difference:

The 5 drawer is MUCH more stoutly built. Plus larger overall.

Jim

PS I picked up the paper towel holder. It is very nice for the price, and goes on any metal surface.

yeah, i totally agree. after seeing the 5-drawer, i don't think i would ever get the black one. plus it has shocks on the top cover instead of foldable hinge thing.

paper towel holder is pretty awesome addition. so is the glove box/tissue dispenser... but they only work with magnetic metals... unfortunately they won't stick to my stainless steel boxes.

These things are solid! Great design and heavy duty! They weigh quite a bit. No flex when rolling my 600 pound quad . For $39 you really can't go wrong

HF has a metal magnetic box that holds boxes of silicone gloves and another metal tray that holds round cans and screwdrivers. I walked out and forgot to pick up either one today

Used the $359 coupon (from the .pdf posted earlier) for the 13 drawer rolling cabinet today, no questions asked. They used the 20% on the drawer organizers, keeping the total to about $370.

i have one that is broke. i reviced it that way (not from HF). i can getit running but it chokes out really bad at firt. i need to keep switching it on and off until the motor builds enough momentum to kick in. once it gets going it runs pretty good. i havent had a chance to really play with it. i want to drain the oil and at new 30wt gear oil to see if that helps. i am sure its something stupid stopping it from cold starting.

I have that compressor. The issue you're reporting seems to be from running it on an inadequate circuit--it needs a dedicated 15A to run, 20A to work reliably.

If your lights (or other appliances) are on the same 15A circuit, it just won't start.

in case someone changes their mind... here's the $150 coupon

Thanks for that coupon! Been looking for the 5 drawer. I joined the forum for this thread alone.
I actually picked up the 5 drawer roller for $199 yesterday durring the parking lot sale. The display model was a matte finish and when I got home and opened the box, it was shiny. Im pretty much dead set on the matte. One store I called says the matte is the "old" style and another says that's the "new" style. The stock #s are the same. Would anyone happen to know about this??

If you bend the fingers in a little, a HF box of nitrile gloves fits fine.

Any super coupons for a winch for my car hauler? Either the 12,000 / 9,000 or 6,000 pound winch. Ive never seen any since black friday if i recall or another rare sale they had. I look in all types of magazines and never see a coupon for either of these. I only see the 2,000 atv winch on sale if i recall correctly. Id like to get a larger winch for the trailer.

Or a coupon for the bigger band saw? The 7" x 12" one.

Hope you used a 20% off coupon on your cart, $200 x 20% off = $40, which = $160.

You can't use the 20% coupon on the carts. If you get away with it at your local store, congrats, but it's against their policy. None of the HFs around here accept them.

But with the coupon we have posted here or the pdf from me it's even cheaper at $150.

Just wanted to say that coupon code 13491889 still works online for the 56", 11 Drawer Industrial Roller Cabinet, picked one up for $699.99, thanks guys! Not sure it will work in store or not. This is going to replace my 15yr old 34" Kennedy with broken locks and cracked frame, cant wait until it gets here.

I did it at my store about a month ago. No questions asked.

Use this coupon instead of the 20% off.

If you buy a tool chest that is not in stock, do you have to pay shipping to get it to the local store?

The 56" is on sale for $799 now. If I buy it at $699 using the online coupon, I have to pay $96 shipping. My question is this... If I go to the store and they do not have these in stock, which seems to be the case with the local store, can I avoid the shipping costs? If so, it works out to be about the same.

They will give you a rain check and they will ship the item to store. From what I understand you will receive a card in the mail telling you when the item is in. They told me it would take 1 or 2 weeks to get the tool box in. But yes you would avoid shipping.

I ended up getting it shipped because the lift gate on my jeep is broken and the thing is 500lbs, now I just sit on my *** and have them bring it right to the loading dock at work, plus I get it much faster. Ordered on the 8th and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

A member here was kind enough to mail me six pages of HF coupons from magazines, I'm keeping three pages and will mail out the remaining three pages if anyone wants them.....PM me your mailing info if you want them.

Mailed out the last page today, if I get anymore I'll re-post what I have.
