I thought I would start a thread for links to good Harbor Freight coupons. Some poor guy posted earlier that he bought a coupon off of E-Bay and that seems downright criminal to me.

*To those that want to bash HF or China or post irrelivant posts, please take it elsewhere. Lets keep this thread dedicated to HF coupons and deals.

I like this idea but why the slickdeals links? I think you can print the coupons directly from the HF site no?

Yes. If it dont work they type in the coupon code. When ordering online, you type in the coupon code yourself to use the coupon. I have yet to have one to fail to scan at the store. YRMV...

I think this link will prove to be valuable, and thanks for doing this. Just so everyone knows not all HF stores will accept copies of coupons. My local store will only take the original one, but this could be the cashier that you get. I know they will not take the 20%off coupon on clearance items, yet some stores will. When asked why they wouldn't take copies the cashier simply pointed to the fine print on the coupon. Gee who reads that stuff anyway.

That 20% Off coupon does not have tool cabinets listed in its fine print. It may be superseded by the "Official Coupon Policy" but it's worth looking at.

they do accept the coupons on the tool boxes

I bought two welding blankets that were on clearance this week. The girl rang them up as quantity and applied the 20% off to both of them.

i'm looking for a paper original of the 13 drawer toolbox for $350. the coupon is good until april, about the time frame i'll have the money for it. does anyone know where to find this coupon? someone got one they dont need and wanna mail to me?

I have updated the first post in this thread to include the following coupons. Print the one for the box out and take it to the store or use it on-line. It will be fine.:

it's not going to happen (at least at my store)... i had a long talk with the manager at mine and he said they get around that because they sent out disclaimers back in november. i told him i didnt' recieve any disclaimer and he still would not honor the older coupons..
i guess it's just like when you see a big store ad with the wrong price and the next day they put out a disclaimer in the paper to get away with honoring it....

Reasonable logic but local managers have been pounded by corporate. You might find an exception but unlikely.

Reinhardt, you can pick up the latest copy (February 2011) of Motor Trend, Automobile or Road and Track.......all of them have the 13 drawer tool box for 349. The coupon is good until 05/04/2011.

you can't expect them to send them out to everyone.. just like target, k-mart, fredmeyer, etc. they just put it out in the paper, if you see it great, if not, you're just out of luck

Every issue of my many motorcycle magazines has a full-page HF ad w/ coupons. I will start scanning these pages and upload them, in full-size, to my Photobucket. You can 'follow' that album and receive email updates when I upload new coupon scans from my magazines.

The title syntax is HFxxxxxx. Where xxxxxx is the expiration date of the coupons, i.e. HF033111.
