Just called the store for a clarification. They said as long as the bar code is visible, and the number for the item and below the bar code is readable, they take it. They know the HF website has coupons and I reminded them they send coupons by email. I also asked them to kindly remind all the store employees of this policy because someone had been told differently. She said they shouldn't have been told that and she would follow through. They have lots of turnover in employees and the recent changes in policy have gotten lots of people confused, even at my store here in Detroit. If you have trouble, ask the store to verify with corporate. Do it on the spot.
