if that 30% is real...Im in! I now know the only cashier in my local HF that is a ballbreaker on coupons. I make sure I go to someone else!

It would also help to know where that came from and why they need name and all of that information?

I'd say that if they arent going to compare it to my license then "Richard Hertz" has just used another 30% coupon :D

The 20% off coupon expired yesterday. I have been looking, but cannot find a current one. Does anyone have a link to one that has not yet expired?

Anyone know any intel on the 30% coupon? Is it old and outdated or is there some odd promotion we don't know about and it's legit?

Help a brother out before he attempts to use it tomorrow :D

Thanks! Now hopefully my local HF will get the 13 drawer cabinet ( $359.99) in stock this week. I may even pick up that 5 drawer service cart for $169.99 while I'm there :)

If it's $169.99 using a super coupon you would be better off buying it at the sale price of $199.99.....then use a 20% off coupon and it drops it to $160.

There's a $150 coupon for the red 5-drawer cart, floating around out there somewhere. Expires in May 2012.

A guy is selling them on ebay. Anybody know where it comes from?

Hi,

Looking for a deal on this transmission jack. Does any have a better deal than $299?

http://www.harborfreight.com/media/...b33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_11247.jpg

Do you need the jack or just the large flat surface to "bump" your ******. I bought a system a few years ago, where you can take the pad off your normal floor jack and attach the plate with a drop through pin. May not be quite as stable as a flat out ****** jack, but as few times as I'm going to use it works fine.
sorry no pic right now.

I saw that on Ebay too and figured if he had it, someone on slick deals or here might too.

THATS the one I am looking for too! Anyone have this? If so please, please share.

The 30% coupon does not work. A manager and cashier tried it for me today. It must be really old as was alluded to before.

I saw the 5 drawer cart and the other tool boxes in the new red paint and played with them. Built like a tank, roller bearing drawers are smooth. OMG I want these! I first will get the 5 drawer cart then next in my budget - and when I get more space- is the 13 drawer tool chest everyone raves about.

Man, these are nicer than craftsman--I have never seen another style box (well seen yes, touched or inspected, no) so cant compare to Snap-on etc.

But damn, they are nice!

EarthQuake 1/4 Air Ratchet

The earthquake 1/4 air ratchet is listed on clearance for $49.99. Are they really discontinuing this item?

Doesn't seem like a hot deal for a HF clearance, am I missing something?

So, my wife "accidentally" (??) threw away my latest issue of Hot Rod magazine last weekend while cleaning the bedroom. In the HF ad was a coupon for a 50pk of red shop rags for like $7.99. Does anyone have a scan of that coupon?

The red towels are a bargain. But use the money you save to wash them at a laundromat, not at home.

There, I just saved your marriage. :)

Soob - thanks!

Jack - at that price, I don't bother to wash them. I usually throw them in my burn pile when they get too bad.

Well I can tell you that grease from wheel hubs can be removed by a toothbrush, hot water and liquid Joy (or similar grease dissolving detergent) cleaned spots on jeans and on a fleece that way . Do it prior to washing in hot in your washer.

Having said that, I agree a whole greasy shop rag should be washed in a laundromat to avoid ruining your clothes--but be kind, try to presoak or prewash in a tub with the liquid detergent at home first. Most people using laundromats usually cant afford to ruin their clothes either.

When I was in grad school I always inspected a washer before using it. Never know what (insert favorite expletive here) used rit dye in one to dye his stuff, or cleaned a carpet in one, or washed their greasy shop rags in one :D So don't be a (see above expletive) and try to cut most of the grease first at home in a pre-wash.

I have a couple hundred of the lighter HFT shop towels. Good price. Even though they look prewashed, they ain't. So I prewashed them several times in hot water to get all the dye bled out. And they do bleed when you wash them, a lot. It also helps reduce the red lint they can leave everywhere.

Just checking...
I can say use the 20% coupon one one item and then use other coupons as long as they're for other item I used the 20% coupon on?
I was under the impression I could only use one coupon per visit.

There, I just saved your marriage. :)

I prefer to use the cheap microfiber towels they sell. They work a lot better. But of course I still grab for my red towels because they make me feel like a real mechanic.

I'll have to grab another pack of these things and some more microfiber towels and make sure to use the microfiber for the non grease/grime jobs.

While on the subject of towels the orange microfiber towels at Target are primo and perfect for detail work. I always pick some up when they are on sale.

So once they liquidate the 13 drawer cabinets, will one have to pay the $600 price tag on the gloss boxes or do they typically offer sales similar to this one? I have been eying the 13 drawer but don't want to buy the box and not be able to find matching top/side boxes for it.
